Checked out the New Zealand International Film Festival yet?

I went to the premier last week and saw a movie called “Love Story”

It was a cute little film made by a kiwi in NYC who developed the story using random New Yorkers opinions on how the story should go.  Interesting concept and awesome cinematography.  There was a little lack of direction, but it was very funny.  It’s hard to criticize a film when the writer gave a speech prior to it.  HE was a tall skinny man, wearing bright pink pants and was full of enthusiasm.  After the film, he came back on the stage and thanked everyone and then actually phoned the lead actress / his love interest (a beautiful russian woman) in New York and got us all to say hi to her – it was awesome.

There’s a couple I want to see, especially “The greatest Movie ever Sold” which you may remember me posting about a while back.  Does anyone have any recommendations?
