As you all well know, things get pretty busy towards the end of the year. Long lunches, drinking, team dinners, last minute shopping…and of course finishing up work.
However amongst all the chaos I have still managed to find time to run which is good. I still run every day and yesterday worked out my Half Marathon training program which I printed on A3 so I can’t avoid it.
It’s fair to say I’m reasonably on track – but the idea of a half marathon still kinda freaks me out. I was going to settle to do a 10km in April – but my good friend Christie (hi Christie – look I’m blogging again!) reckons I’d be fine to do the half. It’s good to have friends that push and motivate you. So a half marathon it is! (With a sneaky 10km race in between to boost my confidence a bit).
